About Me

You want to learn a little more about me?

Aww, I'm flattered!

I’ve been working pretty diligently on this version of myself — honestly, most of my life. Some chapters were slow and stuck. Some were heartbreakingly messy. That roller coaster used to climb real high… and drop real low.

But even when I felt lost or small, I knew there was someone in me who was bolder, freer, more embodied, more… me. A whole damn force of nature just waiting to be let out.

These days, she’s not just peeking out — she’s showing up. Dancing weird. Laughing loud. Claiming space. Writing songs that don’t make me cringe.

Want proof? Here’s a melodramatic song I wrote in 2013 when I was 28 and just starting to realize how deep some of my patterns ran. Ooof. Tender.

And here’s a much more grounded, empowered song from 2019 that showed up after a lot of work, play, and unlearning.
(Spoiler: she kept going. And it worked.)

That’s what Shift Happens is built on — the belief that change doesn’t always have to be a slog. That play is serious medicine. That joy is a portal. And that tiny shifts, when done with heart, can change everything.

So, who am I?

I’m a musician. A visual artist. A dancer and mover and yoga teacher. A baker. A hiker. A pun-slinger. A meditator. A mystic. A transformation coach. A German-speaking Fulbright scholar. A dog-loving, audiobook-devouring, chocolate-chasing, curiosity-fueled Jane of all trades.

I’m kind of obsessed with self-actualization — not in a hustle-y way, but in a "holy shift, we get to be alive?" kind of way.

If you’re here, maybe you’re at the start of your own becoming. Or maybe you’re ready to start trusting yourself more, playing more, shedding a layer or two, and seeing what’s underneath.

Wherever you are: welcome. I’m glad you’re here.

Let’s find out what happens when shift happens.
